"Nobody needs to be alone with their pain.
I remember connecting with Seth when he was struggling, and he was appreciative for the love and support. He was brave and not afraid to talk with others about what he needed to accomplish. While resources were available to him, I think he most desired the connection he had with the "helpers," whether that was a friend, a mentor, or a counselor. I think Seth would want other people in recovery to know that they can move through their pain surrounded by the care of friends, family, and professionals. I believe the Seth J. Winter Memorial Foundation serves as an encouraging message to those in recovery, and he would be proud of the good it will do."
